Dragonsoft Studios Site History --------------------------------------------------- Site Version 2 - 01/07/2012 to 03/24/2012 --------------------------------------------------- ------------------ :: January 2012 :: ------------------ 01/07/2012 - A new year, a new quarter, a fresh start to the ol' homepage. All nice and clean! So my plans for my recording schedule have changed. Imperishable Night was being a thing, but I wanted to be able to go ahead and get something more surefire recording and uploading. As such, I am starting on Megaman Battle Network 3! I have the first game day recorded, and will be editing and uploading soon, hopefully a couple of vids on Saturday night. Other than that, I've gotten hooked on Skyrim. It's quite a fun game I'm finding. So hey, lots of updates this time! - The last quarter's updates have been added to the Archive. - The Projects list has been updated with the changearound of projects. Also added Rokko Chan to the future projects. - The Library has been updated with a couple of games sent to me by beedolphin : Loco Roco and Me and My Katamari. - 8 new images have been added to the Fan Art gallery. My thanks to those who sent in new work! 01/14/2012 - Skyrim tends to be quite an engaging game, more than I expected. I'm having a lot of fun with my argonian mage. However, I'm still doing my best to record as often as I can. MMBN3 seems to be going well so far, I'm glad people are enjoying it! Seven new images have been added to the Fan Art gallery. I would like to thank those who sent in new work, and I would also like to thank ZacEXE3, who was nice enough to send me some XBLA points, as well as a couple of new games. These have thus been added to the Library. 01/28/2012 - My apologies for missing a week of updates, as well as being a bit unproductive on my channel. Essentially, I was dealing with a bout of depression, crashing in on me from various sources. Suffice it to say, I'm feeling much better now, and happy to be getting back to work. I've been playing a lot of Alice : Madness Returns lately. It's interesting how much it feels like one of the 3D Zelda games to me. Certainly not a bad thing, just interesting after the original Alice's third-person shooter feel. 17 new images have been added to the Fan Art gallery. Also, my thanks to ZacEXE3 for sending me a copy of Sonic Unleashed. I've been having good fun with that too! This has thus been added to the Library. ------------------- :: February 2012 :: ------------------- 02/04/2012 - It took some doing, but I've cleared all the achievements on Alice : Madness Returns! A very fun game, that. I very much enjoyed playing through it. I'm also delighted to find that two of my all-time favorite games, The 7th Guest and The 11th Hour are slated for release on GOG. Definitely looking forward to that. On the subject of time (okay, that was a minimal segue at best), I'll be 31 over the course of next week. What is time how do I I don't know AAAGGGH!! It's become kind of a running joke in my circle of friends, when we have someone else in the Skype call, I always have to know, how old are they? I still hold the record of anyone we've had there. Between that and someone asking what the first Mega Man game was that I got, while claiming the first THEY ever got was Mega Man & Bass, as a birthday present when they turned FOUR.... oof, old dragon is old ^_^; So aside from that, onto site updates. 15 new images have been added to the Fan Art section. I would also like to thank beedolphin, who donated some XBLA points. Thus she essentially bought me Alan Wake American Nightmare when that comes out ;) I've also added Lemmings to the future projects, as there were a lot of positive reactions to that on my recent video. 02/11/2012 - And so I'm officially 31. My birthday was nice, got some cool things, including a Weird Al DVD, Sonic Generations, and a voucher for Warriors Orochi 3. Also had homemade pizza for dinner. Delicious. 11 new images have been added to the Fan Art gallery. My thanks to all who sent in new work.  02/19/2012 - Running a bit late this week, last night I just felt quite tired and not really up to messing with site updates. The weather here lately has been quite rain-filled, which has been annoying for having to rely on the satellite connection for both my internet and TV. At least I'll have Alan Wake American Nightmare to look forward to this week! Excuse me whilst I squee like the happy series fan I am. True sequel or no, I'm happy to see they haven't forgotten about Alan Wake, and look forward to playing this one. 9 new images have been added to the Fan Art gallery. I've also updated my Library with a few new acquisitions : the DX upgrade for Sonic Adventure and Banjo Kazooie / Banjo Tooie, all on the Xbox 360. 02/25/2012 - MMBN3 seems to be progressing well, I'm glad viewers are enjoying it! Alas, probably the most annoying part of the game is coming soon, so.... hoo boy ^_^; In other gaming news, I got Alan Wake's American Nightmare this week. I'm so very happy to see them doing more with the series, and the message at the end of "Alan Wake's journey through the night will continue" is promising. I also got in a good bit of achievement hunting, getting all the achievements in both Sonic Generations and Sonic Unleashed. Progress is good! I'm very much looking forward to Warriors Orochi 3, which is supposed to be coming out on March 20th. However, GameStop for some reason doesn't have it in their system at all, meaning I can't reserve it. What the deal, yo? I'm not quite sure what this means, hopefully they figure it out soon. 7 new images have been added to the Fan Art gallery, and the Library has been updated with the purchase of Alan Wake's American Nightmare. ---------------- :: March 2012 :: ---------------- 03/03/2012 - Well, we've hit the tedious mission of BN3, and I've had a few complaints about it. My reason for not cutting anything out is it's all part of the game, the actual main path through the game. Every battle I show is one that I got into in actually just playing through the game. I never show grinding for chips unless it's a specific chip the game itself orders me to get, like Wind * or IceBall M. To me, it's important to show the rest because it's a fair representation of what it's like to really play the game. Oh well! In other gaming news, I hope GameStop finally realizes that Warriors Orochi 3 is coming out soon. I haven't been able to reserve it yet. 6 new images have been added to the Fan Art gallery. My thanks to those who sent in new work! 03/17/2012 - So, um, yeah, about those updates... So last week, on the day I normally do my weekend site updates, we had quite a hefty storm sitting on us, and HughesNet was down for the entire day. So guess what I forgot to do when the net came back... Oops! Okay, so over the past two weeks, a number of things have occurred. On the gaming front, I got my copy of Batman : Arkham City, reserved Warriors Orochi 3, and a friend is sending me a copy of Silent Hill Downpour. I've also been continuing the LP of BN3, thankfully the longest day seems to be taken care of now. Over on YouTube, they forced the new channel design on everyone. It's useable, sure, but it's ugly. I hate being stuck with that bland grey box as my channel. It also sucks that they put a character limit on the channel info, so the first time I go to edit it, I'm going to have to trim it down severely. Yeah. While making channel announcements and answering comments isn't as annoying as I expected it to be, I did go ahead and set up a Twitter account at RoahmMythril, so I'll sometimes make quick announcements that way. So as for updates, 20 new images have been added to the Fan Art gallery. I also added Beedolphin's donation of Silent Hill Downpour to the Library, and a new future project to the Projects list. Thanks to Zac, I was reminded of Bucky O'Hare, a game I enjoyed in my younger days. Seems like something I might want to revisit. 03/24/2012 - It's been kind of an aggravating week. YouTube finding new ways to break itself, people that can't understand and respect that I do have a life outside of YouTube, and now HughesNet making it hard to access my own site. Put it this way, hopefully these updates will actually even work o.o; Anyway, 6 new images have been added to the Fan Art gallery.
