Dragonsoft Studios Site History --------------------------------------------------- Site Version 2 - 03/23/2010 to 06/26/2010 (Normally, each archive will be three months long, Jan-Mar, Apr-Jun, Jul-Sep, Oct-Dec. However, there were two remaining March updates from after the Site v1 archive, and I didn't see the need to make an entirely different archive file just for those two lonely little updates.) --------------------------------------------------- ---------------- :: March 2010 :: ---------------- 03/23/2010 - At long last, I finally got around to upgrading my site! Things obviously have changed around a good bit. I removed a few pages that didn't really serve a purpose. The journal is gone since anything I need to update, I generally do either on my main site, or on my YouTube channel. My Amazon store is gone because, well, no one ever bought anything. Also, the Comic page is gone since the comic is in my Gallery anyway. I've added several new sections as well, such as giving the fan art its own gallery, putting the polls on their own page, and adding more things detailing my YouTube activities. I'm going to endeavor to update the site more frequently from here on out, now that I have more of a reason to. So please, enjoy your stay, and feel free to look around! 03/29/2010 - Hey, I'm making good on my promise to try to update more regularly! The Fan Art gallery has been updated, so please go check out the new work sent in over there. A list has been included as to who has new work added, and how many pieces have been added. I also realized I left a game off of my gaming library, in the PC section, so that too has been rectified. This also involved adding another definite project to my list. As far as videos, Day 8 of Let's Play Megaman Battle Network 2 is finally uploaded. Ten parts, what a behemoth... Day 9 will be started soon, but I do plan to first do another Fan Art Showcase vid, as well as some special plans for the first of the month. ---------------- :: April 2010 :: ---------------- 04/05/2010 - The Fan Art Gallery has been updated again with new pictures, the specifics once more shown on the Fan Art page. I also added some details that can help out as far as dimensions and file sizes are concerned. Alas, Coppermine, my gallery program, is highly picky, so this could help out a good bit. I also fixed a couple of problematic links to the gallery pages. Mainly just minor fixes, really. Enjoy the fan art, and also, I'll be trying to do a Blind Run of the first MM10 Special Stage today, so hopefully that will be uploaded to my YouTube channel later tonight.  04/13/2010 - The Polls section has been updated with a new poll about Megaman Battle Network 2! Please cast your vote as to which Style I should use in the upcoming vids. This poll won't be active for long, basically from now until I finish my chip grinding and get the next Fan Art Showcase vid posted. 04/18/2010 - The Fan Art Gallery has been updated with everything from the latest Fan Art Showcase vid. Quite an update this time! I also made one more note about sending in fan art, please be sure to let me know what you want to be called in the gallery for when I upload the art ;) I also updated the Gaming FAQ with information about my CamStudio settings. Hopefully it will be helpful to others who wish to record videos. The Style Change poll is also thus closed, as I'll be starting recording of Day 10 soon. The winner is HeatCustom! WoodTeam fans, don't feel left out... I will likely be alternating styles between refreshing pauses, due to the unforeseen fact that, during my chip grinding... I maxed out the level for HeatCustom ^_^;; -------------- :: May 2010 :: -------------- 05/02/2010 - The Fan Art Gallery has been updated, including everything from the latest showcase vid. Also, a link to GandWatch's DeviantArt gallery has been added to the Links page. It's good to be back to work after that blasted cold, that's for sure! For those who have been wondering about my next project, first I need to finish the post-game areas of MMBN2. After that, my next major planned projects are Secret of Mana and then Silent Hill 2. The Mega Man 10 Perfect Runs may appear somewhere in the middle of this, depending on when the full enemy name list is known. 05/04/2010 - The Links page now has a new heading for art galleries. After featuring a link to Neo's gallery, another viewer requested a link to their DeviantArt page. Thus, in case this becomes something more frequently requested, I suppose it's best to have a section for that. 05/15/2010 - Things have been updated here and there, quite a few things really, so let's see what's new!    - First off, on my YouTube channel, I am celebrating 2000 subs! Quite a ride, I never thought I'd get this far! I will be doing a special series for this after MMBN2, I have it in mind and will be starting it soon. For those waiting for MM10 Perfect Runs, those will probably be next. My friends need a little more time to prepare. Secret of Mana will then follow that. - My Links pages has been updated with links to Pink's new site, as well as Shagg's new blog. I also added a link to Lijik's LP channel. - The Gaming FAQ has been updated with a few new questions. - Since I've had a few people asking about it, I updated the Library page with my "Games I'd Love To Play But Can't Afford" list. - I am running two new Polls, so please check them out and give me some feedback. Quite a few new updates! Nothing new in the Fan Art Gallery as I still need to make some videos for that, more will be explained in an upcoming Updates / Announcements vid, as well as one of the two new polls. As ever, my thanks to all my viewers, subscribers, and fans, and here's hoping you enjoy my future work! 05/29/2010 - Quite a massive update this time around! - The Fan Art Gallery has been updated with a whopping 190 pieces o.o; It's also been made a bit easier to see just the newest additions, thanks to the creation of the Newest Submissions album. From this point on, I will be doing weekly Fan Art Gallery updates on Friday nights, and it should be a lot easier to keep up with. There will no longer be Fan Art Showcase vids on my YouTube channel however, as it just got to a point where I didn't have time to balance doing both those AND my gaming vids, which are more the core purpose of my channel, and I had no free time for myself besides that. - The Gaming Library has been updated. My thanks to dwab321, NorthWoodsNightWolf, and doompotty, all of whom donated new games for me to enjoy! - The General FAQ and the Gaming FAQ have been upgraded, now both have a full Questions List at the top so you can easily see if your question is answered within the FAQ without having to read the full thing. The Gaming FAQ was also updated with some new questions. - The Polls page has the results now for the Fan Art poll, as well as the Forum poll. It looks like I will indeed be getting forum space on Pink's site. Nothing is set up yet, we're still in talks and planning. More news will be posted once something is put together. - Due to a recent incident, the About page has been slightly updated. Please, I ask you, don't talk to me about religious matters. Most importantly, don't try to convert me or ask me to give religion another try. That was one of the most painful experiences of my life, and I have no desire to go through it again. Religion simply is not for me, and my spiritual beliefs are my own. - Last but most certainly not least, my thanks to everyone who has sent in donations. It truly means a lot to me and my family, and it feels good to be able to contribute to them in this way. Your donations are greatly appreciated.  With that, my thanks as ever to my viewers, fans, and friends, and hopefully with the latest updates, things will run a bit smoother. I'll be getting back to filming MMBN2 as soon as possible. --------------- :: June 2010 :: --------------- 06/05/2010 - Just a basic update this time around, the Fan Art Gallery has been updated with a weekly upload. I'm currently hard at work on the MMBN2 Chipgrind of Destiny, so hopefully that will be done fairly soon. 06/08/2010 - Hey, what's that over there on the right-hand menu? Why it's a new section! Thanks to my friend Pink, I now have some forum space on her site! Feel free to go check it out, there are sections there for suggesting games for me to look into for future video projects, asking me general questions, and discussing my current projects. I would also like to thank videogamemaster1000, who sent me a couple of new games, Chibi Robo and NiGHTS Journey of Dreams! Thank you very much for the new games! ^_^ These new additions have been updated on the Library page. 06/12/2010 - As usual, it's time for the weekly site update, though I've done a bit more this time around. Not only has the fan art gallery been updated, but I also added a new question on the General FAQ, and updated the Projects list with a few new games under consideration. The Forums are working out nicely! 06/19/2010 - I've updated the fan art galleries with 45 new images, so please enjoy them ^_^ Beyond that, I added a new question to the Gaming FAQ, and added a few new "under consideration" projects to the Projects page. Recently, someone on my main channel page suggested I should consider an "updates archive" so as to clean up the main page a bit, and I rather agree. Thus, I will be working on that fairly soon. I also will hopefully be starting work on the 2k Subs video project soon, so hopefully I'll have something to show for it within the near future. 06/26/2010 - I know, I know, bad dragon! ::smacks self:: I haven't made the updates archive yet, so the front page is a bit crowded still. I've mainly been busy trying to get the Powered Up Perfect Runs series going, so at least that has started! So as to actual updates, 42 new images have been added to the Fan Art gallery, and now that the secret of the PSP is out, I have updated my Library page with information about that. The projects list has also been updated now that the Powered Up runs are in progress, as well as the Gaming FAQ, displaying the difficulty ratings so far.
